Once each quarter three projects from the received proposals are nominated for voting.<br \/>\nThe winner of the 3rd grant competition in 2017 is the association \u201cAutism Support Centre in Rezekne\u201d with the project aimed at the provision of developmental and educational activities for children with special needs.<br \/>\nThe range of activities includes:<br \/>\n\u2022\tergotherapy (2 x a month, for children aged 10-12)<br \/>\n\u2022\tactivities with a speech therapist (2 x a month, for children aged 10-12)<br \/>\n\u2022\tphysiotherapy (4 x a month, for children aged 10-12)<br \/>\n\u2022\tactivities with a special pedagogue (individual activities 3 x a month,  for children aged 10-12)<br \/>\n\u2022\tactivities with a social pedagogue (individual activities 2 x a month,  for children aged 10-12)<br \/>\n<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The charity shops \u201cOtr\u0101 Elpa\u201d (Second Breath) in Riga and Liepaja have been organizing a regular funding competition called the Second Breath Grant since 2011, supporting different social initiatives in Latvia.
